Saw the cutest movie tonight! We went to see the sneak preview of The Proposal and it was amazing!  Ryan Reynolds is a total hottie and his character in this movie was awesome!  Not to mention it was hilarious!  Great chick flick. 

My first chapter of my original story is doing so-so.  I'm going to be working on the second chapter after I get done playing my video game.  I'm not sure where it's going so it probably wasn't wise to post so soon, but oh well.

Parents are on their way back from Georgia.  My brother graduated Magna Cum Laude (or however you spell that) and he's now officially a Lt. in the army.  I wanted to be there soooo bad, but stupid work prevented me from going.  My dad got to give him his first salute and it was very emotional according to my family.  I made my aunt tape everything though, so eventually I'll get to see it.  

My roomie finally joined the digital age by getting a facebook.  She has been adamantly opposed to all forms of blogging, but after she started missing stuff with her classmates she finally capitulated. I've told for ages that email is dead and the new thing is Facebook and she finally gave in.  It was hilarious, however, this means I have to revive my Facebook. Blah.

Finally added an original story to my fictionpress account.  I've been debating for awhile if I wanted to.  I'm not very brave when it comes to putting myself out there and for some reason borrowing characters for fanfiction has always been easier for me.  It doesn't matter I guess if it is successful or not.  I write for myself and I put stuff out there just in case others might enjoy it too.  That train of thought is what finally kicked my butt into gear to get moving.  If it works out, great, if not, well all that matters is I had fun writing it. Hah, we'll see how long that train of thought lasts me.

Now, that I'm officially exhausted maybe I can get some sleep.  Changing work schedules blows, but at least it's set for four months and I have weekends off (does happy dance). Or I could go play some video games...

Today was more exciting than usual.  Went to the Oklahoma City Zoo. Think it's way sad that something like that is exciting.  Must get life :(

Nah, it was really fun.  I haven't been to the zoo in over 10 years so everything was new and shiny to me.  OKC has really upgraded so there's all these cool habitats for the animals now.  When I was younger it was beyond depressing to see the big cats and bears in little pens, but now they have these huge plots of land.  Of course, this means it's nearly impossible to see them now because they hide.  We need to go in the winter when it isn't so humid and hot.  Typical Oklahoma weather.  I swear we have to be the only state that has tornado shelters in their zoo.

Now I'm wiped and ready to catch some zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I've never had a livejournal before so i'm curious as to how this will develop.  Everyone and their mom seems to have one so I figured I would jump on the bandwagon.  Might as well, right? I have long grown tired of Myspace and Facebook so time to start a new obsession. It will be nice to have another outlet for writing and I can post some of my more flagrant opinions.
